Medical Errors Correspondence Course
The purpose of this course is to provide the Licensed Massage Therapist with current information on Medical Errors as required by Florida Statute, Chapter 456.013. The course is geared specifically toward the Massage Therapist as a Health Care Provider. Topics include: Types of Medical Errors, where they commonly occur and their prevention. Scope of practice, Sanitary practices, Universal Precautions, Contraindications, and Endangerment Sites. This course fulfils the 2 CE Units required by the Florida Board of Massage Therapy for license renewal.
